Stay here! The rooms are super clean with a kitchenette and have everything you need. It has a nice pool and patio and it’s right next to the beach and 20 minutes walk to beautiful Caleton beach where there are amazing food stalls. Look no further!

Villa Castillo de Los Minos is a gem. The owners love this place and it shows! We went with no specific plans or knowledge of the area. Everything was close by and easy to navigate. The locals are lovely, friendly people.
We stayed in Suite 1 for eight beautiful days. Loved this suite! It had everything we needed and more. Was comfy and spacious. My favorite thing was the enclosed porch (with a ceiling fan) to enjoy a quiet morning or evening of people and dog watching.
Every morning I walked across the street to the beach to swim. Usually I was completely alone with a few sleeping beach dogs . Sometimes a few locals, but still pretty much alone to enjoy the gorgeous view. Same in the evening.
I felt completely safe walking around by myself. I felt safer walking down the street at night then I do in my home town in the USA.
I'm more into relaxing then exercising. Which is great because everything was so close. There is a full kitchen in the suite, but again, I'm relaxing. There are plenty of options for eating close by. Walking to the bakery in the morning or to the various food vendors in the evening was plenty of exercise .
Our favorite place to hang out and eat was El Mangle Restaurante. It's tucked off the trail to Laguna Gri Gri. It has a comfy, laid back atmosphere. Everything there was delicious. My favs were the Chicken Cordon Blue, Chicken Primavera, the Bruschetta, and the Bolognese. We had drinks at a few other places but hands down El Mangle had the best Mojitos and Pina Coladas! The service and staff were great.
There are so many stunning places to see nearby. We spent an afternoon just down the shore on the most gorgeous beach, Playlita Grigri, swimming and grilling. We took a drive to Playa Grande for lunch and massages on the beach!!! That massage... OMG! The ocean breeze on your skin, the sound of the sea!!! DO IT!
One more thing... I'm not a hot weather kind of person. The mornings and evenings were cool and comfortable for walking around. Even in the heat of the day there are plenty of places (even on the beaches) to get out of the sun. It sprinkled from time to time/maybe bring an umbrella, good for the sun or the rain.
I cannot wait to go back with my family. And stay longer!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
