Vamos a Ilo de paseo

Ilo es una ciudad muy linda, con una vista hermosa desde el malecón dónde está la playa, siempre q vamos nos va muy bonito, nos hospedarnos en el hotel Karina que es algo antiguo, pero es limpio, y su personal es amable, está bien ubicado, y su vista hermosa al malecón, no ofrecen desayuno incluído en el precio, pero tuvimos una estancia muy buena, y tranquila para dormir.

Important details

We stayed at the Torreblanca hotel. For three nights. The hotel has good infrastructure, good rooms. In front of the ILO boarding port. Excellent terrace for sharing large spaces with the family, it has an elevator for all floors.
It is a place to spend the night without problem.
If your staff is very poorly trained to serve the public... with precarious services with a minimum (toilet paper in the bathrooms) (change of sheets every day)(change of towels) you have to be requesting these implements. And the staff puts in a lot of effort to deliver them...
I think by fixing this they could be a great hotel with good service
Poorest continental breakfast in the world.

Ilo does not have touristic structures as we european are used but, the experience i did in torreblanca was really bed. the hotel is brand new but they did it bad! broken tiles outside the elevator, wifi not working at all, no breakfast in the morning beacause the lady did not come.....
no air conditioning and you need it!!!!
my small room was closer to the lamp of the outside street lamp. so i just couldn't sleep at all.
built unprofessionally run unprofessionally.
cheap for sure

HOTEL ACCESIBLE

Si lo que deseas es un sitio donde puedas descansar en Ilo, aquí lo tienes. Es un hospedaje pequeño, con ascensor. Las habitaciones simples no son tan pequeñas, tienen una pequeña mesa, velador y un ropero, así como baño propio y limpio. Las personas que atienden este hospedaje son muy atentas. El desayuno son café o una infusión, dos panes y tortilla de huevos con hot dog. La cama no es muy cómoda. El hotel está a media cuadra de la oficina de registros públicos.

Tiene el potencial, pero le falta despegar

El hotel se encuentra ubicado en una zona alejada del centro de Ilo, lo cual tiene puntos a favor como puntos en contra.
Algo a favor fue el silencio necesario para poder descansar y dormir tranquilamente después de una jornada de trabajo además despertar y poder oír las gaviotas fue como un respiro, a diferencia de un despertar en el centro de la ciudad donde hay ruido por el tráfico y que es una zona comecial.
Sin embargo, por la noche no sabíamos cuán segura sea la zona, ello por lo oscuro que es la urbanización donde se encuentra el hotel. Lo que nos dio sensación de seguridad fue que las oficinas de una institución pública (SUNARP) está a pocos metros del hotel y además había un paradero oficial de taxis.
En cuanto al hotel en sí, esa noche fuimos los únicos en todo el hotel. El motivo de la visita fue por trabajo y solo duraba un día.
Preguntamos cuánto tiempo llevaba el hotel funcionando y nos contaron que ya lleva alrededor de 2 años.
Del hotel se puede decir que la infraestructura estaba nueva, habían algunas cosas aún por arreglar como por ejemplo el living room que está pasando la recepción y detrás de eso se encontraba el comedor con un estilo dinning/bar.
Las habitaciones estaban bien, tenían una cama cómoda, una noche de mesa, un ropero, una pequeña mesa de trabajo, es decir lo necesario para descansar y trabajar. A lo anterior se añade que la ropa de cama estaba super limpia y además había una manta polar por si es que a uno le daba frio en la noche ya que estos meses durante el día sale sol pero a la noche el clima enfría. Lo que sí fue problemático era el tiempo que tomó en salir agua caliente de la ducha, ya que yo me hospedé en el 4to piso. Tomó alrededor de 10 minutos.
El hotel además cuenta en el último piso con un área que puede servir como sala de reuniones, contaba con varias mesas de madera y sillas, y además una infraestructura de barra de bar, por lo que organizar un cocktail ahí sería idóneo. Además cuenta con muebles de descanso para reposar y un equipo para conectar un dispositivo de audio y escuchar música. Hay una puerta que da una terraza desde dónde se puede ver la urbanización y algunas zonas de Ilo, imagino que en pleno verano la terraza habilitada podría ser algo a favor del hotel.
