Relaxation

We booked a 4 day stay in Riverview Cottage #23. We wanted to bring our 7 month old puppy and were thrilled they are pet friendly. Check-in was very easy, and the cottage was clean and inviting. The amenities were great and it really shows that they want their guests to have a relaxing vacation. We loved the porch area as it was safe for our puppy to be out there with us. The fire ring was really nice and we enjoyed sitting out there at night as the deer walked by. The river trail borders the property and we met a lot of friendly dog walkers on our daily walk. We are already planning a trip back in the spring. We have never had such a relaxing trip.

Surprised by this place.

Nice older looking rustic cabins from the outside, was surprised at how nice it was inside, we stayed in Cabin #4. Separate bedroom with king bed, separate bathroom with 2 doors, from living area and bedroom. L shaped living area with a couch and chair and a dorm style fridge, coffee maker w/coffee and microwave.
It was VERY clean. Looked like it was remodeled recently or painted walls. Covered parking right next to the front door. Contactless check-in and check-out.
There is a new 6 mile concrete walking track right at the river behind the cabins. We saw deer all day, every day, one big buck in the cabin area under the trees, every morning.
They have bbq pits, fire pits and picnic tables at the cabins and at the river.
Definitely will stay again next time we pass through the area.
The town is nice too, plenty to do.

special secret place

Fantastic stay, absolutely loved it. We were in cottage #24 the last one right next to a meadow. We saw deer every day in the meadow and out in front of our cottage at night. Beautiful views of the river. We loved the room very comfortable. There is no closet thought so pack accordingly. There is s small place to hang clothes. We spent most of our time on the balcony with views of the river. Very quiet and peaceful so you have to want that.
The only issues we had as internet is not that great so don't go expecting to get a lot of "work" done. The tv was hard to figure out we called the office and Prescilla ( wonderful helpful person, we loved her) came right over to help us figure the tv out. This place is a special secret. Can't wait to go again

Nice with a qualification

We stayed at this establishment for three days with two other couples. Our units were very nice - comfortable, clean, convenient to places around town and right on the river. Places to eat were in easy walking distanced. We had only 2 complaints. The first is the door to the bathroom would not latch. The second is the owner wanted to charge us $30 to use the common room. Specifically, during our visit, it was kind of rainy. The units do not have a table large enough (or enough space) for six to play cards or a board game. We called the owner to ask if we could use the common room (which was unoccupied) and she would allow us to use it only if we paid $30.

Great Visit

Our family rented 4 cottages and 1 RV spot. Rooms were clean, beds actually super comfortable, good wi-fi, convenient to the river, Mary's Tacos across the street was perfect breakfast option and within walking distance. On-site Management was friendly, helpful and always willing to get us things we forgot (trash bags, extra towels, etc.) 10 out of 10 recommend!
