Great hotel for skiing Heavenly with big rooms and amazing staff
The room was huge with lots of hangers and shelves for ski gear. It's a 5-minute drive to the California base (the website mentions that it's 20 minutes for some reason). There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel that you can take downtown / to the gondola.
The staff does an amazing job. We had several snow storms that they do an amazing job of clearing the parking lot / paths (watch out for snow coming off the roof tho!). The breakfast staff does a great job of keeping up with the weekend mass invasion. The front desk was super helpful and pleasant, smiley, love that!
There's Burger Me! at the hotel, but most everything requires a short walk (10-15 minutes) / bus ride / drive. The hotel is on the main road which surprisingly does not seem to see a lot of traffic.
The wifi worked very well for me. There's a small fridge and a microwave in the rooms. They keep hot coffee / tea in the lobby around the clock. Breakfast was typical Hamptons rotation and it was very good. It's one of the pricier options for South Lake Tahoe but it's worth it. They have a nice pool and a bar / drinks is available.
Some minor annoyances - it's a doggie hotel which is a slight incovenience if you're allergic and your room is next to one with a whining dog (poor doggie!). My key card got deactivated during my stay which mandated an unnecessary trip down to the lobby. Their late check-out is 12 pm which really isn't a late check-out imho.

we loved the breakfast,it was so appealing and fresh,and had so many options.
